I figured they would only be a few show up to this one. The thread had alot of steam when it first got started then just slowly died off. Still the few of us that do go should be in for some good riding.

As I was discussing with MiddleT....I'll be arriving in the area on the Thursday (staying at the Two Wheel Inn) and will be riding around Cherohala/Dragon and the rest of the area all Thursday evening and Friday. (Saturday morning I have to start heading back North to make it home in time)

If you guys see a 4th Gen riding around with an Ont plate be sure to wave frantically so I know it's you guys...otherwise I'll freak out and run away.

Cool slow I look forward to meeting you putting a face with the user name lol. If you see a red fifth gen with fairing damage on the right side and red & black leathers that's me.

    Nice looking forward to it.

Let's hope the weather holds up. Long, long range forecast looks like rain. Lets hope it changes.

I'm willing to drive 3 days in the rain to Ride the roads around there....but not willing to ride 3 days in the sun just to have tons of rain on the Dragon/Cherohala.

The weather this time of year is very unpredictable I wouldn't even worry about it till the week or just a few days before you leave.

I was at the KSL – Mo’s last weekend. The weather was great! I had to stop by Watts Bar on Saturday and headed over to 129 from 68 and 72. They had a “Shovelhead G2G” going on at the KSL. I was the only one on a “crotch rocket”. It was great, the guys and gals welcomed me and even asked questions about the VFR 1200. I turned 10,000 miles while I was on my way to the Dragon.
There was a woman there at the SH G2G that rode a bike that looked 60 years old with rust and grime from years of abuse and she rode it up from Orlando Florida. I talked to her on Sunday morning and looked at the bike and couldn’t believe she rode any further than Robbinsville.
They roasted a pig on Friday night and did a fish fry on Saturday night. They trailered a smoker down for the pig. The beer was cold and the fire pit was warm. I brought my own tent and the temp was great for camping. Some of the shovelhead guys had never been to Mo’s and they ranted and raved about the food, clean bathrooms and atmosphere. I had a great time. I wish I could be there again this weekend, but I’m working at another nuke in Michigan (DC Cook). I headed up here on Tuesday. I hope your trip is as good as mine was!

Attention y'all. This event has been cancelled due to a total lack of participation. That is it in a nutshell.

I'm kinda feeling the same way. I get to ride some nice fun roads here in North GA so this trip was more about hanging out with others than riding. I'm leaning toward cancelling this trip in favor of going to Barber Motorcycle museum the following week for the Vintage Bike festival. If anyone is interested in joining me I'll be taking the long scenic route to Birmingham and staying downtown which is walking distance to the bars and restaraunts.
