    ^ Sweet!

Like the design of the rear tire hugger. Hadn't really focused on this before.

Taking another look I noticed a difference in the front brake calipers between this bike (the one hopit almost made off with) and the one in the link above. Looks like a nice upgrade on 'hopit's' bike.

yes there coming of the harrness, Captin 80s thanks, and I too thought they are signal wires so I kind of assumed the orange and blue plug in to the green as a ground or hot (forget what green is) for the signal ciriuts.

I'd have to say rear turn signals. The front would be 3 wires, the extra one for the running lights.

Thanks for the help guys, nothing realy new, Painting the upper fairing now, worked out the head light will post when I get it painted and the decals on. The bike is at the mechanic getting some love, but I always love when I get a bike out of the confines of my little sunroom were I build them, It alway seems they come alive in their first light of day.

Thanks for the update. Looking great!

If I could ask, have you crunched the rake and trail numbers on this?

I'm curious to know if you were able to keep the VF500F stock geometry.

Looking very nice! Thanks for posting the new photos.

If you have a chance to post a few more detail shots, I am interested in hearing more on how you modified the fairing armature.

On this note, what gauge set did you use and where did you place the fuse panel?

I will take some pics soon, but the gauges are monthed to the top tripple a la early gsxr's. The gauges themself are from 1995 fzr 600. I chose them because the red line is the same and the normal operating temp is close as well, and because they looked like i wanted. Wiring was straight at it just changed the fzr harness for the vfs. All the fairing stays i made frome flat aluminum, except the visable rear ones are modifed tl1000 r. The fuse pannel is monted to the fairing, take pics soon.

It is finaly finnished! Its not what I originaly set out to build but I guess I justafy it as a tribute like this: Take the frame inspired fron his championship winning ns500, a motor inspired by the nr500 wich he rode, and the body work from his 1985 rs 250 and I guess this would be it.

Fantastic work, Brad (and seemingly quick turn around too!)
Hey, would love to see a video of start-up, walk around maybe even a fly by!

    Bravo!

Been following your build with peaked interest since you first posted Brad. Congratulations on an exceptionally nice job, hope she runs as good as she looks. Well done! :bravo:

Question for you though, any thoughts on installing the orange Showa decals on the front fork sliders? Would tie in nicely with your theme and give the bike that authentic period look.
