WTB - 41mm VFR clip-ons for VF500F fork/brake upgrade project

Title says it all, I am looking to purchase a good set of 41mm VFR clip-ons for my VF500F fork/brake upgrade project.

Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!

 

I hate to be Captain Obvious,but there are a ton of aftermarket 41mm clip ons on Ebay in all different bar heights,price ranges,and styles IC,take your pick.

Totally agree. Woodcraft clip-ons with a 3" rise would be my first choice. These are top notch and made in the USA from a small privately owned company. Always a good thing.

I'd like to save a bit on the clip-ons though as I am ordering up on a few other items.

The VFR's 41 mm clip-ons, I believe, have a 3" rise, which is what I need to get back to the stock ergonomics on the 500.

Bump...still looking for a used set and have been keeping an eye on eBay but could use some intel.

What years/models have 41mm clip-ons with +/- 3" risers?

 

Are you looking for the stock 2nd gen clip-ons? Does condition matter? I have a extra pair, just need to find one bar end and a pinch bolt.

 

Thank you for the post. Yes, I am looking for a set of stock VFR clip-ons to fit 41mm fork tubes. I haven't compared these with the stock VF500F clip-ons but I think they have a similar rise (about 3") which is what I'm after. Cosmetics do not matter but I would prefer them to be straight/sound. Thanks again!

Still looking for a set of 41mm stock clip-ons in good shape, if someone has a set on the spare parts shelf.

I was doing a bit more research and I think the rise on the stock VFR 41mm clip-ons is much less than I originally thought.

Would anyone have a set they could check?

 

A shout out to Dutch for checking on the dimensions of the VFR 41mm clip-ons. It looks like they do not have enough rise for this project. I am looking to source a set from a Hawk GT (NT650) as they are 41mm and are a match to the rise on the VF500F. These are a bit tougher to find though as the Hawk, while a great bike, did not enjoy a lengthy production run ('88-'91).
