Wheres vfr chuck ?

I ordered some inner panels from VFR Chuck some time ago and havent heard a word , paid in full , anybody know any thing , thanks Larry

It's par for the course. High quality stuff, but be prepared to wait.

 

Be prepared to wait and not hear from him a lot. I orderd a full set of fairing work from him last april and have yet to receive the remaining pieces.

 

ya i ordered a set aug 10th 2010 ,,, have not got jack @%#$ yet,,,, lol

Took me over 6 months to get my tail fairing. Took me 3 months to get my gas tank. Took me about a month to get my front fender and rear solo cover.

Great stuff, and since I wasn't in a rush, it wasn't that big of a deal. I just had to keep on him. I thought he was trying to shaft me, but he was just being slow. Overall, worth the wait, Definitely!!!!



If you want to track him down, don't email him. Don't call the listed number for Cobalt Racing. Call his Dad Charles Crites SR and ask for his home number. His father owns Crites Restoration Products.

Yep I ordered Feb 2 2011. Cowl plus lower fairings. Paid in full and have heard nothing. I did get the cowl. But the work is OK at best. From the cowl I'm not that impressed by his work. But I want the lowers. I won't order again. And I would not recommend anyone to him. Next time I will buy a newer VFR so that's an upside I guess!

 

He has been hanging oot with Waldo.

 

No word since Feb. Man thats harsh...

 

I think chucks time as the older vfr fairing guru has gone out to pasture.

Based on all te posts on this board alone why anyone would work with him or send monies is beyond me.

Hi thanks for posting on this... I closed my email so created a new account. I am now all most to month 11 with out getting the panels. And nine months without getting a response from him..... I guess I'm out 200ish bucks...... So I'm back on the market for two lowers for my 86 VFR. I'm glad for the guys that did get things from VFRChuck. I would have loved to have my on my bike this year...

 

Can't believe we found osama bin laden AND saddam hussein before chuck.
