Givi makes a real nice product. You will feel the difference.

I've got the Zero Gravity Double Bubble on my 5th gen and love it, even for touring. Best blend of buffet reduction and look there is.

The Laminar Lip on my buddy's BMW works great too, and it can be removed when you don't want it.

On the BMW it's barely noticeable from a distance...

Double Bubble is pretty nice looking for the 6th gen

the Zero Gravity touring screen might be a bit tough to deal with on a daily basis:

Again, going from the stock to double bubble made a HUGE difference on my 5th gen.

I bought the Givi windshield for my 06. Definite improvement. The stock windscreen located the air stream at chin level. The givi screen moves it up to the top of my helmet; theres a lot less helmet buffeting.

Chomper..just dont toss your stocker till u end up happy with the right one....I tried a few of the bigger ones and totally ruined the bike for me.took away a fair bit of the body lift i needed to be comfy and put me into buffeting.. Then I woulda needed higher bars to get back to normal and more $$$.. I tried the db and the bigger db thing, same deal..ended up back on the stocker as puts "MY" helmet totally out in the nice clean air. No buffetting out there for me, just clean airflow..hahaaa ,You dont know buffetting till you own a windstrom..:) anyway.... everyone is diff, diff heights, etc...so good luck!! hey..I did buy one of those 10$ chinese knockoff db's on ebay, and its good to experiment with..I'm not keeping it high, just want a dark one to cut down to stock..

getting warm out eh??? :) stop by and try my db sometime...

Thanks for the info and pictures ended up ordering a dark smoked puig with a slight lip the dealer swore that was the best choice have to wait and see.wasent cheap At $120 if its not right that laminar lip seems like the way to go, like the idear its removable. i find the stock screen is fine around town but not great for those long rides outatown will post pic when i get it installed

I am very happy with my Zero Gravity Sport Touring windscreen. I also have Convertibars. The ZGST raises the airflow to comfortable level even with Convertibars in the highest and rearmost position. Got the smoke version, spray painted my Sun Pass (toll road payment transponder) flat black and mounted it between the screen and the black plastic. Almost invisible.

Zero Gravity Double Bubble works great for me.

Standard bars and I'm 6' 3" and find it much better over stock.

I have the Zero Gravity double bubble and like it pretty good, although I still go back and forth to stock.

    - Curious - what does the bike with the laminar lip look like when its removed? Is it velcro attach or?
