    Hi,
I have just got my VFR out from hibernation and was getting it ready for the spring/ summer. I put the battery back in and tried to turn the engine over.. to be fair im not too sure that i have charged the battery back up enough. Any way the engine just about fires up but almost imediately the Fi light illuminates and the engine cuts out and the alrm beeps.
The bike spec is VFR 800 with Metasystems alarm, PCII and micron exhaust. (i disconnected the PCII to see if made a diffrenece but it didnt).
Can anyone help me? Is there an electrical problem or fuel injector problem.. or should i buy another battery?

have you tried charging the battery more? have you tried starting with the charger hooked to the battery? It's prob just the battery, but maybe not. Start there and work your way to more complicated stuff, though.

have you tried starting with the charger hooked to the battery?

    Yes i have and nothing.
The battery is an odessey dry cell (for extra umpf) i dont see it being the battery. It just wont ignite now. I tried cleaning the spark plugs and nothing. I suppose i will have to submit and get it towed to a professionl mechanic.
