Is there a possiblity that the future VFR comes with cam gear train?
I used to ride CBR400 hurricane that comes with cam gear train. The reason I upgrade to VFR750 is because of unique cam gear. Love to see the return of cam gear train on VFR. I have been riding VFR750F for nearly 10 years now.

    probably not..

There's every chance that the current 6th Gen VFR will be the last VFR ever..it has gone back to cam chain drive , ostensibly for noise reduction, although it's undoubtedly cheaper too, and Honda just might be able to make the system work now..
Maybe a future spin-off from the 800 cc GP engine will find it's way into a road bike but I don't know if it's gear or chain driven cams, and it's more likely to be a pure sports bike than a VFR so don't hold your breath.

    speaking of the future
I traided in my ninja and bought the vfr got a lot for the ninja and got a great deal on the black 2006 vfr 800 abs . I figured when it is paid for I would trade up for a beter bike. after riding it for a while and knowing that this is the last gen. I dont want to sell it . I like every thing about it so now I have to pay for it and save up for what ever is out there in 2012 when I save that much money . I wounder what the next thing will be .Will it have side air bags and anti tipover or corner at 150mph? every year they get beter 5 years is a long time in the motorcycle world
