Can piece #18 be purchased? Does it have a part number? The parts websites I've looked at skip right over the part number for it. Could it be out of production and therefore not in stock anywhere?

hmm, I lost that part myself but never looked to see if I could replace it. If I see something, I'll let you know...

I actually think I have one of those. The previous owner of my tank bag had a 2000 vfr and I always wondered what that thing in the tankbag was. I'll try to get a pic later and post it up. If it's what you need you can have it.

    Edit... is this it?

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I found this thread and ordered the plug because of it. I never even knew there was something like this out there. I like it!

Of course, pic's or it didn't happen:

Guys, that looks like the plug to fill the hole from the seat cover, no? I have a contact that has an extra seat cover if anyone is interested. Not sure of color or condition but he was here to look at a parts bike and he mentioned that he had an extra. Post up if you are interested and I will try to get it for you.....Chris

Got mine a few days ago after a second shipment, Partzilla originally sent me a choke lever for some 70's era Honda, intended for Scott in Missouri. I hope Scott can figure out where to mount the VFR butt plug on a CB750.
