I've got a buddy near Seattle that has an old 1986-87 Honda VFR700 that he wants to part out. I said I'd help since I knew some of the guys on the forum.

    Some details:
Complete engine, removed, but we don't know the status, we've not tried to turn it over.
It's got no title and he won't try to get one (we've tried)
The only plastics that aren't melted or beyond repair are the two rear side fairings.
    NO SEAT
Rotors are there, but they're pretty worn.
    gas tank is dented

either PM me, email me or post here with what you need and I'll ask if he can take it off. We'll price as we go.

I'd be interested in the left foot peg & bracket if it's not bent.

Well, how about $30 + shipping for just the rearset?

The rearset is really all I need, just found a spare peg in my box o' goodies in the garage! This way he can sell the pegs as a set, if possible.

    To all those interested:

We don't know the mileage because the gauges weren't included with the bike. He bought it used. Some stuff is in good shape, other things like fairings are pretty much trash. No mirrors, the fairings are pretty bad, the engine may have had coolant in the oil.

@ summitlt: The head is available, but we're unsure of condition. Make an offer.

@ VFR1000R: The clutch master and slave is available. Shoot me a PM with your email and I can send pictures.

@ bobthebiker: the exhaust can is gone, but the headers/pipe are there and in "ok" shape for a bike 20+ years old.

@ 82ndGreasemonkey: The Clipons are available, but I'm not sure about bar ends now that you mention it. I'll have him look.

I have a near new looking spare, looks mint except on left side reflector there's a split, you have to get close to notice it otherwise shiny as new, it has 2 smal leds in the bottom to light the tag, there wired not visable. If interrested I'll put up more pics, hard to see the defect on camera. $32 shipped in US
