Bought a 86 VFR700 beginning of the summer from the second owner. Who had it for 15 years. It has a set of supertrapps on it which I really am not a fan of. I tried running them without the endcaps to try and get rid of the supertrapp sound and that isnt going to work. Think my ears are still coming back from that.

Whats out there for cans that are smaller like belong on this bike. New universal streetbike cans are way too long and big around.

Or if someone wants to trade? People tell me it sounds great, I just never liked how supertrapps sound.

Someone in here managed to get some Superhawk mufflers on his VFR, as long as you have the pipes connecting to the cans a capable pipe shop should be able to fab them on.

Do you still have the supertrapps? I wouldn't have anything to trade except stock mufflers which it sounds like you don' t want, but i would buy them if they are in good shape. How much $ ?

Check out Delkavic. They have some nice looking universal cans. I put one of the 14" Tri Oval Carbon fiber cans on my kerker 4-1. They have a removable baffle too.
