    Hi VFRW,
If any of the Sydney boys or girls are in need of a battery - I have a spare and will gladly hand over to put to good use.
I bought a replacement battery before a trip to Tassie in Feb. Followed the charging instructions 3 times and concluded the battery was faulty. The shop agreed and were happy to replace but had to wait a week for the rep to come out. Sorry, going to Tassie on Fri. Went and bought another battery from another shop. When I got home they called and said my battery was ready to pick up. It has been sitting in my office since March and ive been meaning to offer it up. It is a YTX12-BS (Aerospace) and it suited my Gen 5. I am in South Western Sydney near Campbelltown. Any takers, will charge up if required.
    Merry Christmas.
    pm me for further details

Perhaps I need a different product or maybe a gimmick.

Would it suit a 6th Gen?

Not sure. I have a Gen 5. I think the Gen 6 has a gel type battery. Look at the manual or on your current battery

Battery charges and installed Cranks like no tomorrow. Also installed and tested fuel pump from US which tested OK. Bike kicked and fired and back fired but didnt start. And carbs spewed fuel all over the engine. Sounds like a stuck float so there is a job for tomorrow.
