Hi, Just a short intro as I'm new to the VFR and was recommended to this forum. I've just bought a 2007 VFR, 15,000k, in a very smashing "red" colour - I'm sure that there must be a much "sexier" name for the shade of "red" but I bet I'm in the right place to find that out... Also own a CBR600F4i but am hoping to keep that for the track and to spend some quality time on the VFR riding around the northern/western US States and Canada. Am based out of Vancouver B.C. It's supposedly called "Candy Glory Red." I have the same bike and the color gets compliments all the time...Welcome to the VFR world...
I have the 2007 and it is called Candy Dark Red. That is what it said on the title. The Glory name just doesn't sound right.
Both names are used but the Honda factory paint color is called Candy Glory Red. If you need to order paint to match, you gotta order the CGR color... I am sure it says Dark on the title because they probably won't use "Glory" in reference to a color on an official document. They use words like Candy and Pearl because it references the sheen and the light refraction of the paint.
