Nope, Haynes is worthless these days. Even the ones for Autos have been reduced to nothing more than an owners manual, with slightly more detail. A Workshop "Service Manual" is the only way to go.
...Besides, I think you can download one from here.

Well I bought one. My only complaint is that it is difficult to navigate. Outside of that I see it as an affordable alternative to something else (I like having a printed manual for the man cave)

It may be affordable but it's not an alternative IMO. I have had to use at times a Clymer or Haynes manuals and have always found either bogus information or no info at all for doing a repair/rebuild. Or you'll find a section that says take it to a dealer to do xxxx. In other words they didn't have the factory manual to copy. They are just a little better than an owners manual.

Factory manuals are the only way to go if you want to do repairs/rebuilds correctly.

I have always had Haynes manuals for my bikes, found them to be relatively good in info. They do fall down in a few areas & some of their diagrams wanting (from memory, on my CBR, the one needed for replacing the anti rattle clips was useless, especially since the clips fall out before you have a chance to note their placement). But their certainly better than the handbook, which, if printed in one language, would actually fit into the relegated space under the seat. But a workshop manual, if you can afford one, are certainly worth their weight. I bought one for my old Beemer & it even came with the microfiche that detailed all the factory numbers, great for identifying & ordering parts.
I got a Haynes for the VFR from England, new & even with postage was cheaper than quoted by the stealership & arrived here in just over a week (7 days quicker than the 2 weeks I would have had to wait).

If you must have a paper manual, then go for it. I have been quite happy with the pdf version linked above, one of the guys on that site produced a nice indexed version. Warning, the download it kinda flaky, use a download manager to avoid frustration.

Honda shop manual is much easier to follow, than the haynes. Both have good and bad about them, but I would go with the Factory shop manual if you are only going to have one. The Haynes have really seem to have cheapened out over the last few years.
