Don't feel too bad Toe; when I worked at a Federal Prison the head firearms instructor blew one of his fingers off during practice with a shorty M-16. It was a total odd incident like yours. Guy had 30 years experience (including combat) with firearms.

Wow John, I expected to pop on here and read about the new cooling system, and instead was just totally blown away! You never want to see something like that happen to anyone, but especially not to a customer. I hope you heal up real soon!

Well on a positive note the pain is not nearly as bad as I was thinking it would be so I am going to take a shower and finish putting the bike back together and go for a ride into town to see my AFLAC agent. Does not look good for getting into surgery today but I guess that just puts beer drinking further up on the list.

Went for a nice ride today. Not a good idea I am sure but it is what I did. Went back to the hospital and to AFLAC , my primary care doctor and to work for some paper work. Lol, bike runs great and the gas mileage is really not that bad if your not hogging on it as I have been. Hoping it heals up quick and have a week or two to just screw off, possible trip to Long's , Chick's, Rail's, and Tink's before I go back to work. A bright side to everything.......sorta.

 

If you come to my house I will change your dressings for free.

It really does hurt quite a bit. I am keeping a positive attitude but am very disappointed in myself for such a dip shit maneuver. Really thought one of the dog's grabbed the towel in play it was so light and quick. Dumbfounded the injury is so wicked. Really blew my mind at the time and still is a bit.

 

Adding Drewl's hoose to the list of stops.......keep forgetting he is in that neck of the woods now.
