KBB shows $7,100 and $7,700 for ABS - not bad if it's like new with less than 5k, at this time of year I'd offer maybe $6,800 if non ABS?

Is the bike stock? Super low miles is that below 1k? i bought a pretty expensive bike but I wanted near new for this one. An 04' 647m for 7k in Dec., but it already had pipes which I was going to buy new anyway, sheild ZeroG,and i could verify sales history etc...and he delivered it.

You will never scare off a serious seller by offering less. I agree with these guys offer like 6800$ and stick if its sweet at 7kThey will just tell you what they will do.

I got my 2k VFR last December with approx 18k mi off of Craigslist for $3500.00 and that was a steal to me. Anything newer that a 1999 VFR for less than $4000 sounds kinda fishy to me and I am cheap. I am keeping my eyee open for a White 93 VFR, but I am not going to pay a lot for it - I love the bike but some used VFR prices have been a ltitle crazy. Anyway, I dislike the VTEC VFR so much (mainly because of the increased maintenance cost and I just do not like the VTEC on a motorcycle), I would probably pay more for any non-Vtec VFR. Would anyone be able to tell me whether attempting a 1993 VFR rebuilt should even be attempted, will I be able to find parts and stuff for the older VFR? I was thinking about picking up an old 93 VFR from a salvage yard nearby and rebuilding it and painting it White.

This bike is ABS and less than 1000 miles (2004). I like the advice of offering 7k and sticking to it!

    Thanks,

The auction ended at $6500, not $3500

Anyhow, I certainly would prefer a new '04 with warranty for $6500 over a used one with <1000 miles, no warranty and $7300.

lets see a warranty and a savings of $800.00 ummm sounds good. Problem is I would not pay $6500.00 for anything on EBay, but that is a personal problem. True, a warranty is a smart thing to have, but it does not seem to mean much to a dealer or the manufacturer - but it still makes sense to get one when you can if you do have to see a legal route to get sumthin done.

Just to set the record straight, this is the item you posted yesterday - it had a $2,500 bid and the seller says he would just like to see $3500 for it - brand new '04. I pulled it from my computer history from yesterday.

Anyway, the auction on the bike you posted today ended 2/08, and didnt even sell for $6500 - it didnt make reserve. Nice try.
