Not yet, but I plan to order one this week. The reviews I have found look very promising. I will post a mini review when I get a few hours on mine.

I wanted one of the carbon helmets enough to ride 70 miles to try them out. I was not overly impressed with it.

Seemed to run small and the fit and finish didn't impress me at all.

I am pretty picky though and ymmv.

    Quick review

I've been riding with this helmet for a week now, and it's a keeper. I ordered a large, the same size as the old Shoei the Akuma is replacing. The exterior finish is excellent, no visible flaws in the carbon fiber, and the clear UV blocking coating over it gives it a nice appearance of depth. The fit is snug on the upper part of my head, but it seems much more roomy around my ears - I can hear sounds around me much better; a noise sensitive rider would want to wear ear plugs. The helmet has more wind noise than my old one, but I stop noticing that pretty soon. The lining is soft and comfortable, not as plush as the Shoei, I would call it good but not great. One thing I really like is the spoiler on the back - it works very well, the helmet does not develop any lift at high speed.I did notice when I turn my head sideways it takes more effort to turn it back straight - the aerodynamics make the helmet pull firmly if I turn past about 30 degrees. Once again, I have gotten used to this now. The big thing that made this helmet a keeper is the weight - this sucker is LIGHT; after wearing it for a week there is no way I want to go back to a heavy standard helmet. The Akuma has DOT and ECE certification.

    I have the Akuma GhostRider,...and it's Awesome!!!!
A Hot weather helmet(not for cold climates), flows lots of air,..Gr8 graphics,..and thumbs-up from Mil-Spec fans!
Watch the "fit" to your head,..seem to run small!
