Who's in Georgia?

Just came up on orders to Benning. I report late Sept. Who's up for a fall ride.....

 

I'm north of the city in Woodstock, there are a number of us that get together and ride somewhat frequently.
Bike night is Thursdays at the Vortex in Atlanta,

Let us know when you get here and want to head to the mountains and we will get our ride on

 

I am in Sylvester, 20 miles East of Albany. We do not have mountains here, just a few hills. (1983 Vf750F)

How about a trip to the Barber Motorsports museum in Birmingham? Not sure if you've been there but the place is freaking amazing and the Vintage Bike Festival and races will be going on Oct 7-9th.

Hmmm.....Vintage Bikes, museum with thousands of amazing bikes, cold beer, fall weather, racing. It's a very tough decision LOL !!!!

Trying to revive a cold thread. :smow: It seems that a number of riders are about 100 (or so) miles from where I live - Warner Robins area. Columbus, Metro Atlanta, Augusta, Albany, Valdosta, etc. are all in pretty easy riding distance. Trying to see if we may be able to get a ride to Barber (or just meet there), or something like that (Infantry Museum in Columbus? :rambo: Museum of Aviation in WR? lane this fall (too much going on in the summer). The GA riders group has been crickets :bug: after posting, so I thought I would try with the main forum. Any takers? op2:

 

I'm always up for a trip to Barber but I prefer to do it in the fall. I also like camping trips up in NC where all the fun roads are.

Columbus here. New to vfr world and back in the saddle after about 15 years. Had to do the mini van thing for awhile. If anyone heads this way. Hit me up.

 

Sounds like a good start, I'm too busy right now to have any chance of getting away on a ride longer than 100 miles. That should ease up in the fall.

 

Im in Alpharetta and I am always looking for new people to ride with. Post up when there is a ride going on. I frequent Blood Mtn and that area.

 

I'm in Dallas. Just north/west of Atl. I'm headed to Barber for my first track day with the VFR June 29th. I heard its a great place. I'm always up for a ride and love an overnight trip to the dragon!

 

You don't know how much I've been thinking about going to Barber Museum. I'm spending about a week in Tenn sw of Gatlin in middle of July. I really want to ride there then go on to Barber. But it's a family deal and I have to drive. May be September. How's the weather there then Rollin? If I go I'll look you up and we can wear down some tires.
