Let it go, dude, not really the place for this kind of debate. Deadsmiley is going to have a heart attack and we did kind of derail the thread for a bit. So, out of respect to Toe, I will consider our game of pong completed. You win. Back to the original topic.

Curious about how you overcome the heat issue...

Ok, enough foreplay.......in short this thing is crazy fast. No issues at all with the tire leaving the ground in the first few gears and would say that the biggest problem is just trying to hang on to it. It pulls REALLY HARD and rip's straight to the limiter before you can shift if not really careful. That is aboot all I have to say other than it does appear to run just as Dan said it would, flawlessly (charger does have a bit of a whine to it and the pop off valve is pretty noisy above 6k rpm) to this point but do not want this to be a ride report until I have many more miles on it. Working with a guy on having another radimatator built, will mock it up this weekend and see if I cant get it by next weekend.

I've always wondered about finding another rad about the same size as our side rads or smaller and putting it in the front where the connection hose is.

What gasoline rating did you feel up with? Sac, CA is about 25ft above sea level and I'm around 3,300ft. A bunch of pumps here sell 86, 88, 90. I'm not a gasoline scientist so I didn't know if 90 at my level is equal to 93 at sea level or some shit.

You might think about a bigger oil cooler as well. With increased heat load the oil will also pick up a lot more heat from the pistons.

i still think that anemic oil radiator that Honda gave us is part of the reason the VFRs run so hot.

Hmmmm.. The 5th gen kit comes with a Laminova oil cooler. I wonder why the 6th gens dont.

You can hook up a RC51 oil cooler like I did to my 5th gen. You'll just need to bend the oil lines where they bolt to the rc51 cooler so they match up.

My very thought. The stock bike is so very poor at keeping itself cool that this was truly insult to injury.....pipe dream or what ever you wish to call it. Need to back up and grab the bull by the horns and put some more cooling to it. Hold on.

TOE, I have the go with the Marine on this one. Us simple minded folk are amused with them moving pictures.
