I think he's talking about the pre-load adjuster.

Great job Toe! I may have missed it. What are you doing for fuel mapping? Seeing your getting more air you need more fuel. Do you just remap your stock stuff?

Waiting for the first ride. Be careful you don't want to flip the bike over backwards. Got to be an ultimate right hand rush.

Oh yea no glycol with the WW right? It will run hotter when used with glycol.

Loaded the map earlier in the thread and am running Water Wetter and water during this time of year due to the high ambient temps.

so im curious Toe, how exactly are you having to modify that right lower panel? If it's not asking too much, couldja point out the area(s) where you are having to remove material, and what on the supercharger setup is actually interfering with mounting that panel? Thats about the ONE aspect of this whole install that I'm still fuzzy on....

The hole where the upper wheel pokes oot needs to have aboot half an inch trimmed off and so does the lower vent hole as well as a few unseen parts on the back.

You have the patience of a saint :pope2:

With the exception of the plastic modifications, looks like that kit went together incredibly easy considering what it is.

by the way, +1 on the Water Wetter that Toe was talkin about earlier. That stuff dissipates heat like nobodys business, and is WELL worth the money!

Agreed, the Rotex requires a 60 mile break in of no more than 6000rpm so if I can get off work at a reasonable time I shall give it a bath and lube the chain and go for a ride. At this point of the day it is not looking good for that though.

I have the same shock, I was talking about the riders right rear set, not the pillion peg hanger. I went back and looked through the other photos and I'm guessing it is a heat shield for the exhaust.

You know.....the left that is actually the right, lol

    Abath and lube

Got home at reasonable time and washed the poor thing (more finger prints on it than Pamela Anderson's pooper) lubed the chain and applied the stickers.

    60 miles....or 20

Ran it oot aboot 20 miles and the temp gauge was starting to give me concern so I went home and inspected the cooling system to be sure every thing was in order and it was so put it back together and continued on. In playing with it while passing the miles it is very noticeable that it does run hotter and the faster it goes (RPM'S)the hotter it gets.....this will have to be dealt with. Ambient was only 85 degrees at this time of the day and at 6k it would hold steady at 223 degrees. Will flush the system completely this weekend and try again. There was still a bit of coolant in the mix and will see if it improves with a clean mix of water and Water Wetter. There is plenty of room for another cooler where the charcoal canister used to live but would love to squeak by until this winter , I think it will be close but OK. Time will tell.
