New here, just picked up my first bike. It is an 86 vfr700 with 17,000 miles on it. If anybody knows anything about lowering my bike please send me a message or post up here. Thanks

Nice! I'm in Chesapeake. Lowering them isn't hard. PM me if you've got time I can help you.

Welcome aboard! How about a picture of two of the "alleged" bike? How tall are you and what is your weight?

From what the picture looks like I think it's this bike minus the solo cowl.

Hi Crozier - I'm 5'8" myself, up here in Arlington. You might just need to get used to handling the bike. Once its rolling, you'll be ok. I used to drive a ST1100. A vfr is easier to handle. Just be deliberate and planned in your low speed handling and doing stops. You can dooo eeeet!
