Nice looking bike. That's exactly the luggage I want but with my high-mount exhaust it's no good. Interested in selling that Corbin backrest? I want to pick one up for my g/f.

CHROME or WHITE wheels really make these bikes look great!

One of these days I'm going to pull the trigger and change my damn black wheels.

Black wheels, IMHO, do nothing for the aesthetics of bikes. They just disappear.

How much did the chrome job on your wheels cost?

I'm guess the holes through the fairings are from a previous set of frame sliders? (Which are now mounted in a different area).

 

Previous Owner was probably going to install sliders but realized he'd have to move/cut the reservoir to mount them. I'm probably going to mod the reservoir to move the sliders there and remove the brackets they sit on now so they don't smash my radiator if the bike goes down.

 

New shots: Michelin Pilot Powers, bikebolts.com red powder coated fasteners, CF Fenda Extenda and chopped fender.

 

You know, the boys make fun of me because my bike is usually on the sparkly side... but do you even RIDE that thing or just sit there shining it up? :wink:

 

Just did a 120mile ride this past weekend. I love this bike! Just waiting on my Micron High Mount to come in.

 

Man that thing looks sweet! A little to much chrome for my taste but its yours also noticed the sweet olhins shock the fifth gens are sweet bikes and you came to the right place for info and advice.

 

I'll be dealing with the chrome this winter season. Probably going to powder coat the frame black along with all the other chrome bits.

 

Now you need to finish the bike with a high quality license frame.

 

Suggestions?

 

Micron High Mount installed. Took these pictures with the polarized filter taken off so the pictures have a lot more contrast. More like the naked eye really.
