Official VFR sighting thread

I sold my VF1000R chopper yesterday and when I went to the store today
I thought I might see it around town but no...nowhere around.

Seeing a ex-bike is interesting to see if any changes were made etc.,.

 

Tucson, My old hometown where I grew up and rode motorcycles all around the town and surrounding desert. Notice the name on the car next to the bike! TUCSON

saw a red 6th gen, i believe, today going north on harlem, turning onto 290 west, business clothes about 0745. I was in my car, but awkwardly stared and never got your attention haha.

 

Red 4th Gen minus left & right fairing lowers, ST RT 38 Westbound, Moorestown, near the U-Haul store, 1900.

Yellow 5th Gen at the Sweetwater Casino off the Mullica River in South Jersey. It was the meeting point of the poker run today.

Red 6th gen on Saturday cruising back and forth on Ocean Ave. in Belmar, NJ.

 

Saw a silver 6th gen (two up) yesterday morning (July 10th) outside of Ridgeway, Colorado. It was raining lightly and felt very fall'ish with temperature around 53 degrees.
Concluded VFR folks are kind of like BMW riders in that we generally are well outfitted and look like we are going places......as was the case with these folks.

 

RWB VFR 6th Gen. sighting on Rt. 662 (Moselem Spring Road) in eastern PA on 7/10 around 11:30am. I passed you and your passenger as you were turning onto Rt. 662 from Rt. 143 and rode the whole way behind me up to Rt. 61 in Shoemakersville. Anyone here?

93 vfr Nice. thought at first it was a gear driven small block as there where a few hot rods out and about running through town during our carnival time here. Nope a 93 VFR with a shaved off yosh can. I tell ya nothing like the sound of a 3-rd4th gen with gear wine and a great exhaust note.

 

Yesterday at Dallas Market Hall , Checking out the Boat Show.

 

Just saw a black 2nd gen with the purple lettering at a gas station outside of Jerome, Az
Nice guy by the name of Dennis. He had never heard of VFRW so I told him to check it out. He said he might be selling it to get a cruiser!
I asked him what for and he said he couldn't handle the riding position anymore. He pointed to his buddies bike and said he wanted one of those.
It was a V4 Magna. I said, "Ya gotta love the V4!"

 

driving around and saw a 5th gen red VFR with hard bags and the corbin seat with the backrest for the passenger on 10 mile in rockford, mi. Then, saw another 5th gen red VFR no attachments on lake michigan drive in Grand rapids, mi. Then at the dealership another red 5th gen under a cover. WTF a 5th gen day! All red, just like mine!!! AWESOME! Why I don't know these people beats me?!

 

I love Jerome, AZ. Spent an afternoon and evening there at The Spirit Lounge or Spirt Club. It reminded me of the TV show Northern Exposure except it was in Arizona. I stayed two nights in Cottonwood, rolling my bike inside the motel room at night. This was the trip that included a run from Kingman to Flagstaff in one hour - at night!

In Jerome, I picked up a gal that reminded me of my ex's sister and we had dinner. I imagine riding in AZ this time of year a rider would want a little bit harder compund tire... .

I shall return.

 

4th gen spotting 7/26/11 @ 20:30 headed opposite me on RT 108 near the intersection of 108, 650, & 108. I was on my 6th gen with pillion and an HD behind me two up.

 

Just spotted a RWB rolling out of my sub-division here in Clarkdale, Az. Side Hard bags, Red/black Joe Rocket jacket.
Never seen him here before. Wonder if he is just visiting, or maybe just bought her?
Hope to see him again.

I get lonely sometimes...

 

Today on I-80 between North Platte, NE and Peoria, IL saw an orange helmeted gray roadcrafter wearing sliver 6th gen at the exit, then a RWB headed West with some V-twins in Iowa. Oh, and my son on his red 6th gen, but I know him.
