However with the switch in the stop position , the engine will not start.

Some barmy pillock got in there and rewired the switch 'e did. Ruddy blighter !

You'll need to study the wiring diagram, then look for any wires that were added or cut.

Seppo can't 'elp it, matey. Been loyal fan of BBC 's EastEnders and the lads and lassies in Albert Square since 1987 !!!! Love that show !

You might think it's naff, but your trouble and strife is a viewer.

Don't like "Corrie," sets cheap, writing poor, characters not as compelling.

Wonders never cease. A US fan of East Enders. I'm fron the UK (north) and I can't stand the damn show. And Coronation Street is no better either. Each to their own I suppose.

No advice for the OP either. I assume it isn't dieseling. It does sound like someone has messed with the wiring.

    Gotta love stereotypes, eh?

Like all the people who think Candians all wear parkas and say "Aboot" and "Eh"

So you don't all live in trailer parks, grow dope and steal shopping trolleys for a living? I'm dissapointed.
