Hey Ok I am an old hand at VF and VFR. My first bike was a VF 500 in 1985. Then the 86 VFR 750 came out and I had to have one. 2 yrs later an elderly man turned it into a pile of metal and plastic. So I am ridding again. I have owned a K1200 GT, and now a Gold Wing. However I feel the need to VFR again. I am looking to get back to a VFR so thought I would start here looking for a used one. We will see. Anyway, I am in Ottawa Canada and am looking for my dream bike 20 yrs later. Mike J

Welcome. Any thoughts yet on which generation your on the look out for? BTW If your search takes you into Quebec make sure the bike isn't branded before you buy.
Vfr Hello, Thanks for the welcome messages. I am looking for a first generation VFR. It was my first real sport bike so I guess I am trying to go back to my youth. I am unsure what was meant by Branded in reference to a bike from Quebec. If anyone knows where a used one is please let me know. What kind of bikes do both of you guys have. Mike
