OMG, this I suppose means I have to send out yet another giant size box of Kleenex to Gunny. I sure hope none of his Devil Dog buddies find out.

Scratches yes, scratchers, I don't think so.. This speaks to hygiene or to stock seats on VFRs.

    I am hurt..............Wait.....that is a good thing isn't it?

I have dropped mine 5, Five (V) times since I got it in 06 so don't feel bad. Mind you I was able to get myself stopped first each time and so damage was minimal. Mater of fact, all I have fixed is a new clutch lever and had to replace a crank case cover. Now damage I have cause from trying to fix this thing is another story and I don't want the site to crash while I try to explain.

Randy you have to stop trying to get on your bike when your ripped. Go get the kids bike with the training wheels if you feel the need to ride under those conditions.:hss:

I ordered the China fairings for my 98 off of eBay. They were so bad that I left my rashed up fairings on the bike rather than put that junk on it. The Color was way off, more like tomato soup than Italian red. Two of the parts were damaged. Over $500 down the tubes. *flush*

No, I did not. I got them from China and shipping was almost 1/2 the cost. Sending them back would have netted me $60 in return after shipping. I opted to keep them. Perhaps I will repaint them to match the bike some day. Right now they are stored in the attic so I don't have to look at it.

Another variable would be to just chug the whole jug and fall down before even trying to get on the bike.
