Nice job as usual, Gary. I laughed when I got to the "mirrors" comment in the 11th-12th. The mirrors on my SV are exactly the opposite; left is good, right sucks. I've adjusted it every way I can think of, and it's never quite what I want. I'm starting to think that the problem is in my torso, or that my head is swollen on the right side (a distinct possibility).

You didn't mention altering the suspension settings for 2-up riding; did you need to crank up the preload at all, or did you leave everything as-is?

Thank you for the nice comments! Yeah, that's weird about the mirrors. I wish they'd figure out a way to see directly behind you a little better as well but that might bend the laws of physics a bit (unless you go with a rearview camera or something). The mirrors aren't bad at all though so I'm definitely not complaining. Maybe we sit a little cockeyed in the saddle without realizing it. I doubt our heads are swollen on one side lol!

I already tightened up the suspension quite a bit so I didn't bother changing it for the pillion. On our initial shorter ride that Friday, everything seemed fine so I just left it alone. I'm hoping to attend STAR School in August so I'll probably button it up a little tighter for that. But it was fine for two-up. Both of us together weigh about 335 lbs (plus gear).
