    I'm not exactly new here but I don't think I ever did an introduction thread.

    Name's Elric. I'm from Chesapeake VA and I've owned...9 bikes now. 3 of those being VFRs. I've had an '87 VFR700F2 a '91 VFR750F and my newest one is a '98 VFR800i.

    WOW, that 87 looks awesome.
    I like the wheels on the 98, but the side plastics need replaced.

    Side plastics? The plastics are in mint condition. The bags need to be refinished, yes. The plastics on the bike itself though, no. There's an extra set of holes in the plastics because of an extra place for protection.

    Yes, beautiful bikes. What's the story with the front turn signals on the '87? The stock ones on my '87 are looking pretty ratty....and they are a bit ugly anyway IMO.....I like the surface-mount type that you have.
