Hope someone can help me where to find the height adjustment for the 1990 model VFR750. I had an 89 before the single swing arm and it really worked really great for me knowing I'm such a shorty. Right now, I'm tippy toeing whenever I'm in full stop. I'm getting the bike home soon and hopefully I can remedy that before I take the long 100mile trip home. thanks for future response.

No such magic lever exists; however, the shock has a pre-load setting ring that you might lower if it's set very high, but it won't help you much. Contrary to some popular wisdon, it's not necessary to be able to flat-foot both feet to ride a bike with control and confidence.

I'm a shorty too, and i've found that, while most new-to-me bikes initially feel tall, after just a few miles or days experience, my perception changes. I still remember how huge and tall my first 1986 VFR700 felt back in 1991 and how small and managable the same bike feels now !!

thanks for the response, you're the second one that concluded that I shouldn't adjust it and get use to it. So I guess I'm leaning towards that perception.

    Yep !!

Something i've learned in 24 years of riding: the more time you spend riding any bike, the smaller it feels.

Hey vfreak , the first day I brought my bike home , pulled off the seat and took it to a local upholster and had it cut down 1/2 inch , being 5'6 its perfect now . Oh plus I put on some Helibars

I did my first road trip this weekend on an open road here in Ontario. A 5 hour cruise in and out to small town is slightly making me feel comfortable with the height. I'm getting the confidence back!
