    Hi guys,
I'd been wanting a new GPS and yesterday I bought a Garmin 1300lm. I decided to buy a steering stem type mount and ordered this one:

Amazon.com: RAM Mounts RAM CYCLE STEM BASE W/1"D BALL RAM-B-342: Automotive

Then I noticed that the ball is listed as 1". The ball on the mount that came with the GPS is no where near that diameter. All the different kinds of mounts I look at have the 1" ball, so that must be a standard size. Garmin is supposedly a big seller, so I'm surprised adapters (if they're needed) aren't prominently listed. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Guys,
Thanks for the quick replies. Getting all the pieces was sorta confusing at first, but I think I've got everything ordered. Had to get a Ram cradle, then the ball that mounts to the back of the cradle, then a thing that clamps the cradle ball to the stem ball. And the knee bones connected to the thigh bone...
It's going to be sweet having GPS on the bike- I can't wait!!!
