I need ideas people, it may sound daft but I have owned my 92 Vfr for a few years and it is only now I have noticed that when leaned over to the right I am unable to realy get it over and feels like its trying to pull back, on looking around the bike it does have one fork seal that need replacing as it is leaking but don't think this would be the problem? and it appears the yoke and wheel are pointing to the right a bit but I can not be sure? so any ideas what the problem is, thanks.

Getting "booked In" sounds like "check is in the mail"

I seriously doubt your front forks are bent.
Did you hit a car? A brick wall? Maybe you just want to replace your front forks.
A couple thousand should do it.

How you check the front forks is to use measuring devices.
BTW lets just say you layed each fork leg on a machinists granite measuring table and found out they were off by .002 thousandths, (thickness of a human hair), from being true. In the center?
Would you replace the forks? Of course not. And do not forget that if it was off by .002 would that be from wear, poor machining in the first place ,or an actual bend ?

Alignment? the fork legs only move up or down in the triple clamps.
Steering head bearings? What alignment are you talking about?
    It is not a car!!!!

Nice one. Front tire condition? Is it cupped. I find that a cupped front tire makes for difficult cornering. Or, twisted forks.

    wheel alignment

Hi Dai, just to clarify, the wheel alignment i was talking about is the font and rear wheel, that is does the bike run in a straight line on the same centre line.

Front and rear wheel alignment is important.
I used to be a dealer mechanic and found out that some bikes
from the factory do not have the front and rear wheel in perfect alignment.

If the front and rear tire are different sizes it makes it harder to check.

First thing to measure is that the center of the front tire is centered in the front forks.
    IT MUST be.
Then check to see if it is the same distance front front axle to rear axle on BOTH sides of the motorcycle. (rear axle adjusters can be off.)
LAST ..check to see of the center line of the front tire is in line with the center of the rear tire.

One simple way to do this is to stretch a string from front of the garage to rear of the garage very tight. Then place the bike in line with this string on a chalk line on the floor parallel with the string. Measure the difference between the front and rear tire and devide by 2. ON the front and rear of each wheel. Then measure from the the string to tire in front.

Get the rear wheel to touch the string in front and back of the tire (side wall). Bike has to be on a center stand or jack.
