    We must be related.

I've been ticketed for non-inspection riding into a police fundraiser (errr... roadblock) and he asked about my lack of inspection. I asked him if he'd trust his life to an inspection mechanic. He told me "no" and I said "neither do I, that's why I check everything myself and don't feel the need for his certification". The guy was cool about it and I thought was going to let me off. Ultimately he wrote the ticket but informed me if I sent evidence that I had done the inspection the citation would disappear which it did. I'm now up to date with that 2007 sticker.

VIR North w/ TPM June 20-21

Any of you guys planning to hit this? I'm signed up for it, without vacation... thinking I need a mental health day.

Also signed up with TPM on July 9-10 at Summit on Shenandoah course which I've never run before but hear is a workout.

Yes VIR can get toasty. Last year I decided to try out the Reg Pridmore CLASS event in early July with some friends and the heat was brutal. Suppose that I should not expect to much different only two weeks earlier, but honestly I think it's all chance given the goofy weather patterns recently. Until last week things have been unusually cool in Richmond.

Oven. A trick is to bring a hand towel (or a few) soak in your ice chest and wrap your head/neck between sessions.

Where can I get updates on things going on in Virginia? I find myself alone on weekends planning daytrips to OBX or runs up and down 14.

Here's my bike. De-bagged. I've got Corbin Beetle Bags and a Givi Monokey rack on the bike but I took them off to do some detailing on the bike.

Yeah I'm not a fan of Chrome but it doesn't look too bad. It's flaked pretty bad on the right side of the bike (as you can see in the picture). Not sure what I'm gonna do with it once it starts to peel off really bad.
