Donald - you may be abrasive, harsh, and tell everyone that their Dad did a bad job of raising them with no tool boxes, but it is a sweet looking bike, and you did a hell of a job on it. Well done, sir.

I sure appreciate the effort in building your own frame. I like the low seat could be good position for aero. Particularly with nicely shaped fairing. You would have plenty of room to get a good shape with that long front end. How much trail does it have? It looks to have 7"+. Be careful going around turns. Your foot pegs or other bits are almost on the ground.

Your fab skills are fab. How does it ride? Doesn't it flop over in a turn with that much stretch?

    I understand.

Trail is 5 inches. SIX inches would be too much. 4.5 inches is about right
    and there are other factors.
Of coarse if I had $2,600.00 I would just get a Sugar Bear front end.
Rockers could be longer but dampening rate could be affected.
    Wheel is not floopy.
Handlebars are wide and pulled back (leverage) so steering is fine.
Rake is 42º. No offset in springer triple trees.
    Rides smooth and steers well.
Does not give the feeling of the front wheel washing out.
    Has a secure feeling.

It is NOT a sportbike to be fliked around though.
I used to race dirt track in Northern California and have won first, second or 3rd in at least 56 MAIN events.

In dirt track TT racing you have to win (1st place only transfers), your heat race with 11 other riders to transfer to the semi main event. Then you have to come in 1st,or 2nd place to transfer to the main event. So in the main event you are racing against 11 other contestants who have already won two other races. If you do that and win the MAIN event you get 4 points.
IF you finish the season with 40 points (250cc class) you can move up from novice to amatuer then do it all over again to move up to expert class.

Many riders race for years and never get out of the novice class because they did not attend enough races or were in the 650cc class or 125cc class and it does not get as many points.

So what that all means is when you enter a race as a novice you are actually up against outright beginners or guys that have been racing for 3 years that just never moved up out of the novice class.

So what i am saying is - I do know what a good motorcycle should handle like.
A chopper is just about a leisurely ride down the road look'n good. and like Janis Joplin said," You know that just ain't right".

Great work with the radiator. They seem like afterthoughts when they're hanging out in front of the frame.

I think the guys at Orange County Choppers would be jealous of that rear tire.

Some choppers roll with 330mm rear wheels. Mine is a 240mm.
