Looking for a start switch for my Vf1000F. Replaced the original with a used one when I bought the bike last year, now this one is on it's way out. Anybody have one laying around, or know where I can get one? Honda p/n 35130-MB6-670 which also changes up to 35200-MB6-771.

Best to be done with it and change it to a third gen or later switch. That design was prone to failure and the later ones will swap oot with no mods.

Thanks Toe, just phoned my local Honda dealer and they can order it for me $75.00. Pretty reasonable price.

It's my opinion that the 3rd gen and later controls give the bike a more modern look. The styling of the 1st and 2nd gen bikes still look great today but the controls and a little of the gauges are what give away their age.

The left side is an issue......not a straight swap. A wiring diagram will be needed. A four beer job and some reading glasses.
