front sprocket problems.

    i have a 86 vfr700, i cannt get the bolt off to take the front spocket off to put new one on. im only using hand sockets. ne ideas????

    Put it in gear and have a friend mash the brake down while you take a breaker bar to it. Or an impact gun.

    yea, i think im goin to take it to my uncles n use his impact gun, ive been sitting here thinking about it for a few hours n gettin more agervated about it

    some jobs just can't be done without the PROPER tools, and in this case a 1/2" drive setup would help alot.

    if you can't hold the bike with the rear brake, a long 2X4" placed between the wheel "spoke" and the swingarm will help oot.
