    Hi everyone,
Like I said, I just purchased a 2001 VFR last night and am gitty as hell to get on her. She's gonna need new plastics, but is mechanically sound. Has 9,000 miles on it and picked it up for $2700. Have a quick question for all you VFR junkies, It had a D&D exhaust on it, but the guy cut it off in the middle of the link pipe. He said he wanted it louder (Retarted way of doing this). Does anyone know if I can just get a link pipe or do i need to replace the entire exhaust? Maybe an exhaust shop could just fabricate a pipe, but I don"t know if that would be cost effective. Any ideas? I'll get some pics up soon.
    Thanks,
    Chris

    Matt,
I called D&D and asked them about the mid-pipe. They said it would cost $103.00 to get it. I'm thinking I mine as well get
a new exhaust. The muffler is kind of beat up and a little rusty anyway. Any suggestions on nice sounding reasonably priced
exhausts? My bike was painted a speckled mid-night blue by the previous owner. Probably looked really nice when it was first done. It's a little worn now.
    Thanks,
    Chris
