Whether you like the look or not this is a quality job of transforming a BMW S1000RR into a monster of a Naked Retro muscle bike and besides the tassels being a bit OTT I quite like its tough Retro BMW looks backed up by Superbike performance but think its looks may polarize so put it to the vote.

Get rid of the seat and those bulbous radiator shrouds and the bike is killer. I give it a healthy thumbs-up because those are two easy changes. Very cool bike.

Agree it could look better though it's probably because it's a naturally faired bike so looks a little clumsy like Hondas Naked Blackbird the cb1100 X11, any ideas how he could tidy it up ?

Ugly as a bucket of dicks. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. Somewhere there's a BMW engineer weeping

The bike is sweet, don't listen to these monkeys. They probably don't appreciate the gorgeous 7th Gen either <opening can of worms> lol! I love what he's done. The only changes I would make are 1) dump that seat and use something a bit more...er...manly, 2) take off the huge side pods, and 3) the headlight treatment is a little much. I'd probably lose north and south and just keep east and west.

No way. The only decent thing to do with that is put all the original parts back on it and apologize to everyone

With you on the lights, still not sure what to do about the side pods and the seat might look better with a 70's R90S style seat than the old '50s R69 style I think he's going for.

    Brothers from another mother perhaps?

Hmmmm....... Gotta say at first glance that high tank and low seat on the Beemer kinda reminded me of this bike John.

I've seen that bike on another few forums before it appeared here, but I believe you are onto something Comicus, it should be dubbed "The RosieOdonald S1000.

And then killed with fire. With her on it.

That'd would be an absolutely frightening thing to to ride :loco:, would think the closer comparison might be with the slightly less mad Supercharged Munch Mammoth but even then the Retro muscle S1000rr would handle and corner much much sweeter.

Munch Mammoth: ( the bearded guy even looks the same  )

The Big V twin has been around for a while. It was fabricated about 20-30 years ago from a World war 2 Rolls Royce Merlin. The builder, an Australian, sliced 2 cylinders of of the v12 block. The engine was originally something like 27000 cc. Max rpm 3000. 600 ft pounds of torque. The Merlin had good stuff, water cooling, 4 valve heads, supercharged. Think of it as a boss hoss vtwin.
