why the cold sholder already?

    Newbie to vfr, just scored some major project bikes (2) '84 vf1100c's hoping to get some good v4 advise and experience, but gettin the cold sholder already. my vf1100's dont seem well recieved. whatsupwiththat?

    if you can make 1 good outta them that would be sick do a oil upgrade asap though the cams on the 1100s get starved

    Not 1 run but 2. Plans are to get both back up and running. I have read about the cam issues sounds like it a reasonable fix. I plan on rebuilding both motors, and have not found much for parts ( pistons rings bearings) any one know of a good reasonable place to find these v4 parts? Old bike barn and sites like tht dont have them.

    dont use old bike barn, those wankers are CRAP. period. I used them once and ONLY once. took a lot of hassling and threatening to cancel my order JUST to find my part was BACKORDERED. in retrospect, I should have cancelled then and sent them a turd.

    check out cheapcycleparts.com, or bikebandit. you'll pay a few bucks, but its worth it. I need to upgrade the oiling system on my 700 I think.
