Anyone tried mounting an underslung (buell-like) muffler?

    Located an 07 VFR800 with less than 4k miles for 6K...good deal or?

    No way to do that mod...I paid $7500 for my 07/abs new,so thats a good deal if its not tweaked.

    No, no tweaks...totally stock. Never laid down etc. Has 2 small scratches that can likely be buffed out I'm hoping. Sounds like a good deal to me..

    I just bought an '02 last week. I am interested in exploring this idea. Seeing as the CAT can quiet the initial thunder quite a bit, a cheap shorty muffler, down low, would drop weight and not heat up my soft bags. I've ridden 6 gen's in the past, and helped gut the factory pipes, i know I like the open sound.
