been checking out the forum, i use to ride in 86 on a gsrx 750. gave it up due to riding position not comfortable for long rides and being to short it was embaressing. have not rode a sport bike ever since. with the gas going up i started considering buying a motorcycle. sport bike was out of the question cause of my height (short legs, 27 inch in seam) but, man they sure look fun to ride. ran across a 95 vfr for a good price, low enough resale if did not like the ride. first ride in the parking lot i was scared it felt huge (i'm only 5' tall) thought maybe i could not handle it. decided to buy it and rode it home. when i got on the freeway "OH MY GOD!" i was screaming and yelling in my helmet saying this is the sh.. my eyes were wide open, the blood was rushing in my body gave a little more gas and i came up on the car in front of me so faasst i thought i has to lock up the breaks, i said okay thats enought for now. i am so very happy i bought the bike, i let my fear and ego get in the way and i missed all this fun and enoyment for all this years. does anyone know where i can buy shoes with a 3 inch sole, i don't want to lower the bike. it's great to be a rider. i will be looking foward to read of your experience, ideas, tips. thanks for reading. can someome please give me a hand on how to use this site. what is a trackback, tags, additional options, subscription, past a poll.....etc. i want to chat with you guys and learn more about my bike. sorry if i'm to excited:redface:

I sold the 95 and got lucky on a 99 vfr. The 99 is really nice. I'm looking for a camera phone and will soon be somebody.
