I'm looking to give my 1987 VFR750 a more aggressive feel with lower clip-ons. Has anyone done this? Are there any problems with this mod?

I would agree that the stock bars are pretty high but functional. Are you going to slide your stock clips down under the top triple tree? Make sure that you have room for lower bars. Hitting tank or fairing might be a problem....

well i did..but i did the CBR F2 front end swap...but i used woodcraft clip on for that. They are lower...i am thinking of putting them under top triple trees so they dont interfere with plastics and gauges. but u should be able to put stock under triples. I think the only drawback will be you back may hurt more on longer rides.

Always wanted to install mounts so I could run Pro Tapers on mine.

I wasn't thinking I'd move the forks at all. I just want something without the ~1" rise off the top of the fork. Its got to be an easy job, I just wanted to know if anyone did this and had trouble dressing hoses, cables, or hit their tanks.
