Saturday won't work for me. Hoping for Sunday, but due to previous issues with a water damage claim on my house, that may not happen either. I'll check in tomorrow, but I've gone from a definite to a maybe.

KC - I take it your knee is doing better? Hope that's the case.

Just a heads up for anyone who's interested, me & a few friends are heading to this "Hawk's Nest" tomorrow morning. We're leaving the KWRI area around 0830 - 0900. If anyone wants to roll, let me know. I believe Dino is in but I'm waiting to hear back.

I'm watching UFC 129 at a friends house until midnight, but I will check on here before I go to sleep.

No go for me either. Sorry KC, would have liked to meet up with you. Always nice to meet some other members. Hopefully there will be another one that we can hook up.

KC I might partake. I'll PM u my number. Promised a friend I'd go for a spin tomorrow but i haven't ridden with him yet so i might do a solo run with him instead to see how he does as far as riding and group rides before i throw him into a group. I'll probably give him a call tonight. Whats your general pace tomorrow? its probably going to be crowded out so mine will most likely be laid back. I'm leaving from 07960 but i planned on riding north anyway (probably 7 lakes dr, the reservoir, etc) thats a bit east of your route but im open.

It's all good. I pretty much ride any chance I can get. I've actually taken training for leading group rides so I am willing to help out any way I can. Anytime someone wants to roll, you know how to find me.

I'll say this as nicely as I can. The Hawk's Nest SUCKS!!! We drove 3 hours to ride a section of road that's 1 mile long & packed with idiots sight seeing. Unless you live within 30 minutes of it, it's NOT worth the effort.

sorry i didn't catch up... headed out late. I should have warned you about that. Most of the ones that you have heard of are loaded with people. Either you gotta hit them at 6AM or just go enjoy back roads. Sussex County has a ton of them.

KC-10, sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the ride at the Hawk's Nest. Weekend is not a good time visit there. Too much traffic. A friend of mine visisted there last Tuesday and told me that a construction work was going on that day. So he ended up riding behind a line of slow moving cages. No win either ways.

On Saturday, I rode along Rt 519 from Philipsburg to Newton (@Rt.94 junction) on my way back from Perkasie, PA. That road was owesome. So many riders on the back roads that day.

^^^ Route 519 is an outstanding road, especially for NJ. Very few houses or businesses (for most of it, at least). Plenty of twisties.

Organization is not the strong suit of us Jersey/PA guys. I went out Monday morning after the downpour (we got about 2 inches in less than 2 hours). Made a quick 100 mile loop just shy of High Point, then back home.

Lets work on a group ride here. Offer is still open to end up back at my place for burgers and brews. If I decide to actually open the pool this week, then we'll have that too.

Sorry Dino. It was a bit unplanned. With the rain pouring, wasn't gonna go anywhere. When it stopped, I just jumped and ran. Had to be back by noon anyway for a BBQ.

I know I would have never got there in time anyway, I need at least 90min to get to your area. Maybe something can happen this weekend, I will keep Brian in the loop too.
