Hi there, getting ready for first big bike trip of the year!! In need of new rubber for my VFR! Id like to purchase a set of tires that have a good lifespan but at the same time can stand up to some fairly aggressive riding... Any input appreciated!

There is already a few threads on picking out tires. Read through them. But everyone here will tell you that you need to pick them based on what you like, and how you like to ride. I just put some Michelin Pilot Road 2's on my 2002 (same bike as yours) and love them so far. I will be commuting 45 min each way this summer and wanted mileage, but I also plan on mountain riding through twisties on the off time. The PR2's are dual compound so they serve both purposes well for me, but aren't GREAT at anything. I only have about 200 mi on them and haven't really even broke them in yet. Read up on a few good ones and then look for a good price online. Most shops will charge you extra if you order tires online then have a local shop put them on, so I took in some online prices and asked the guys to get as close as they can with a price match (allowed me to get install prices like if I bought the tires from them). Saved me $100 at least!
    Some suggestions:
Pilot Road 2 or 3(sport tour)
    Pilot Power (sport)
    Metzeler M3 (sport)
Conti Road Attack (sport tour) I think

I have Conti Road Attacks on mine and love them. I had Conti Sport Attacks on my 600RR and really loved those.
