Hey- Now I KNOW not everyone is a fan of the tank bra. For me, it completes my "80s look" that I'm going for, right? Anyhow, I found/bought one on ebay recently. And since I have two VF500Fs, I thought I might take it to a local auto upholstery shop and have them make me another one. I thought about having them make me one from scratch a while ago, but I didn't want to try and describe it without having a template. Couldn't see trying to figure out how far it goes on the top of the tank, the sides, etc. from scratch. Anyhow, now that I have one it may be easier. Naturally, I thought of my VF500F brethern here, and figured I'd see if any of youse guys wanted one as well. Of course I'll take fotos of mine installed when it gets here for you to decide, and I'd then see the price on having the shop guys make more than one. So, if you're interested, let me know. Should have fotos late this week or first of next week so you have something to look at. Just a thought.
Update: Got the tank bra in the mail from my ebay purchase. It was not made for the VF500F. Not even close. Waaay too big, and the clips on the bottom are too large and in the wrong spots. Also, no hole in the side for the tank switch. I may try and have it altered, but if you happen to have one for sale for this bike, drop me a line.
