I have jumped the Ducati bandwagon and am now a 2002 VFR owner. I can't believe how enjoyable this bike is to ride. Whats more interesting is the popularity and the following this bike has. I am a mid 30s rider from Western Massachusetts and have already made some contacts on the Northeast sector page but figured I would introduce myself to the rest of you. I am an MSF instructor (ridercoach) as a second job and have been on a motorcycle for over 15 yrs now. I am glad this bike found me and look forward to learning as much about it as possible fro the pros here

welcome to the asylum. it was a lust for italian iron that led me to V4s.

as for olderish- mid 30s you say
many moons ago, a wise man once told me that i wasnt even wet "up to" my ears yet.

i think you will find the VFR to be a nearly perfect partner for any crime you can imagine.

Mid thirties. Fack you are really old aren't you? What took you so long to be found by the VFR? Mine found me by the time I was 51 years old.

Welcome to this chamber of insanity and fun. You should enjoy a romp or two here. Chime in when someone out there says something off the wall about proper riding technique.

BTW. My present bike is my first. Never rode before I got this in 06. As a matter of fact, the slaesman drove it and parked it in my driveway cause I didn't even have a learners licence. The course, was the absolute best thing I could have ever done and would recommend it to everyone, even those who have ridden for years already.

And BTW a second time. PSOT PIX OR YOUR FIRED!

I just turned 31 a couple weeks ago. Got my VFR as a birthday present. My friends tell me I'm getting old, but I don't feel it a bit.
Anyway, welcome and congrats on the bike! You will LOVE her, I'm head over heels for my girl already ('02 Italian Red).
Glad to see you are a MSF instructor, your input will be valuable in riding technique as Randy said above.
+1 on the posting pics request...
