think my starter is bad?

    hey so i went out for a ride and my bike wouldnt start i bought and charged a bran new battery and when i put it on... the bike just made a "click" noise and wouldn't turn over andy ideas? is it the starter? i also checked what connections i could in the wiring and didnt see anything out of the ordinary.....

    any info is helpful ty :)

    You might try jumping it with a car before you start tearing into other stuff.

    Sounds like the relay is working due to the clicking. If you have a meter you need to check the voltage at the relay battery and starter posts during cranking.

    can you really jump a bike with a car???? is it the same? cant say as tho i have ever done it on a bike just always used a trickle charger... which i dont have at my house right now >:\

    wow ok so i tryed to jump start the bike my battery was deff low... not sure why.. so anyway it turned over very nicely but still did not fire up.... everythign was g2g... fuel, check. kill switch, check... gass on, check...

    so im not so worried about my starter.. is it possibily spark plugs? the only thing i have done to it before today was take off the break lever and clutch lever.... and im assuming that is not an issue...
