How about an East Coast Convention

I like the idea of a meet up somewhere along the eastern seaboard. Pick a time and place now though so we can start to make plans. Will it be the hsta thing, or something on our own? I think VA seems to be the most centrally located. Almost everyone on the east coast can get there in a day. Pick a campground. Pick a date. Post it and see what happens.

 

brianereed do you ever ride out to Leonardo, Sandy Hook, Sea Bright or Cape May - trying to get out there this summer for some sun and fun and of course riding. Let me know if you come to NYC - I can show you the Long Island shore - nice roads, sun, fun, party boats and more riding - really kewl.

The HSTA in Asheville, NC looks like it is very diversified and is a great location. Loads of scenic routes and near Deals Gap. I am definately looking foward to making the trip and meeting up to do some riding and camping. Is the NC destination confirmed - I am coming from NYC so Va is a good meetup point and so is Baltimore. -

 

HSTA has a meet in Sparta, NC over the Memorial Day weekend.
it'll probably do the same roads, but who cares.

I'm tempted to do both it and the one in June in Asheville, NC.

Of course, that requires approval from a higher authority. :flame:

 

I am all the way in RI, but a road trip never hurt anyone, we have the Mt. Washington Auto Road up in NH that is a great ride. Dont suppose people want to wander that far north, but an East Coast get together is a great idea!

 

everyone should definitely check through the thread for the link for the star07 tour hosted by hsta they have a registration form that has stuff for shirts and what not too.....i am really looking foward to it and that date again is june 24-27, 2007

 

HSTA 2007. the website lists almost 100 attendees currently.

I think that I'm going to it instead of the Hoot.
