Helmet lock idea

    Take a cheap lock like the top pic, grind it down and, using a button head bolt, bolt it to where the rear pegs used to be.

    It's small, and actually blends in pretty good.

    It looks like with the pin closed there might not be enough room to use an unmodified Allen wrench on the bolt. Not a bad fix if you've removed the old one.

    I'm not sure what you mean by "removed the old one". The old helmet lock? There isn't one on the gen6 except the things under the seat which are a pita. And, yes, once the lock is shut and there's a d-ring in it the bolt head is inaccessible. it's just a deterrent anyway.
