    Hi guys,
I Have a 1998 VFR and I want to know if I have any options with the front and rear wheel.
Basically, I was coming home about two weeks ago and I hit a pot hole. The front rim and a bit bent now....

Since I like the older VFR rims (vfr750 94 to 97) can I fit those rims into my bike without any modifications?
I know that people have done it with the rear wheel, but has anyone tried both, front and back?

Also, is my front rim compatible with newer VFRs? Say, 98 through 05?

I hope you guys can help me with my question.
    Thank you!!!

I'm not sure if this will help but I had to get a new set of brake rotors for my 2000 VFR800 as the previous owner tried to drive off with the disc lock in place. The salvage yard that I got the rotors from said that they came off of a CBR600F4i. He didn't mention what year but he said that the wheel was also compatible if I was interested as well. Since the CBR600 is far more common they might be more readily available from a salvage yard. I have a friend with a 97 VFR750 that he crashed and decided to put back together, but I tried the wheel on my bike (he said I could have the wheel if it fit) and it seemed like it fit. The part number at Honda is different for the two generation bikes but they do look identical. Hope this helps.

    Thanks buddy!
I agree, I was doing some research and the parts on the vfr750 and vfr800 (98-09) look identical. Actually I went online and the part number is almost the same.... the first 5 digits are the same, but then the last 2 changes.

    Thank you again!

'98-'10 ('11?) VFR800 front & rear wheels are all the same iirc. '90-'93 8 spoke rears also bolt right on.
