Hi, everyone....Just bought my 1997 VFR after 8 years without a bike...Other hobbies and work had left little time and attention for bikes, but now I'm retired and I'm happy to be back. I'm a sport touring rider (since 1969) and a retired cycle mechanic. Former bikes include 2 earlier model VFRs, Duck 900 ss, Guzzi modified V7 Sport, K75s, 2 Norton Commandos, R90S, and a really ugly Honda 450 with ape hangers, a sportster replica tank, and eminently uncomfortable tufted low seat (my first bike...The only one I don't miss.) I think that the VFRs are the worlds best "sleeper" bike, with the possible exception of the K75s....Glad to be back in the saddle. Jay
