First post and I wanted it to be a gesture of gratitude!

I bought my VFR last December and could not be happier with it. I'm looking to saddle up and ride to New York and back (from San Francisco) this summer. It's quite a process and I'm finding that you guys have become an indispensable reference of knowledge. I'm new to touring, but you guys are helping me close that learning curve. From luggage, tools and mechanics to which roads to ride and which landmarks to see, you're all helping me begin to clarify this immense soul searching journey I'm about to embark on.

Welcome and glad your enjoying it. Make sure you start up a post before your epic ride. I'm sure you could meet with fellow members along the way. If you're ridng from CA, to NY, I'd be happy to buy you some diner food in Jersey. Hook ya up with a taylor ham, egg and cheese.

 

Yea it's pretty cool to follow some of the stories here. I'll definitely start a post and involve myself with VFRW much more in the near future. Diner food hell yea! Something I'm sure to become well acquainted with.

 

Would love to get a picture as you pass by Sacramento.

 

But fucking nobody in this country has fuckin diners like Jersey! Ya see what I'm saying?

Of course, I jest. But we do have some good diners. And I'm sure you'll be eating at plenty of them in due course.
